My recent stay at Posada Abuela Fidela over Christmas was an unforgettable experience that perfectly balanced comfort, hospitality, and authenticity. From the moment we arrived, gracious host Miguel welcomed us like family, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was special, even accommodating our last-minute arrival. The Junior Suite we chose was an exceptional find—spacious, beautifully decorated with charming beamed ceilings, and equipped with a fireplace that added to the warm ambiance. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the picturesque village, just a short stroll from the vibrant Plaza Mayor. Each morning started wonderfully with a traditional Spanish breakfast, thoughtfully prepared by Miguel, whose humming while cooking was as delightful as his attentiveness to our needs. For those traveling with bulky luggage, do note that there are no elevators, so opt for a first-floor room. the tranquility of the surroundings made for some of the best sleep I've had in ages.
